Dr. Paul Sheard is an Australian-American economist and policy commentator based in New York and the author of the Wall Street Journal bestselling book The Power of Money. A former Chief Economist at Lehman Brothers during the global financial crisis and later Vice Chairman and Global Chief Economist at S&P Global, he has held senior roles across global finance, academia, and public policy, including at Harvard Kennedy School, Nomura Securities, and the Australian National University. A frequent global speaker and media commentator, Sheard has advised the Japanese government, served on World Economic Forum councils, and sits on several international policy and economics boards.
